Does Signal Have Technical Requirements?

Signal is optimized for use with these and other web browsers:

• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox

*Although Signal also works on most major mobile platforms, only the above browser types are officially supported.

If you wish to connect to the original social media posts that Signal identifies, your organization will need to have access to the relevant websites for those services. 

For example:

• https://x.com/ now requires an X user profile to view posts on the platform. 
• Onion/Tor posts will require a Tor browser.
• Other sites may require specific permissions. 

You will need to contact your organization’s System Administrator if you are experiencing problems, as you may require special access through your organization’s firewall.
